Eyes that make me
say eyes and halt, unable to resume,
such are they,
adorning a face that is sensitively
moulded, an admirer’s dream, surely,
arresting but not dominating
a face,
a face that is a girl’s,
innocently, unconsciously, happily beautiful,
swirls,
fortuitous or perhaps, the creator’s masterful brush showing its true colours…
All I can do is pause,
in awe,
and go,
why, that’s Holly Golightly,
with whom I’ve always wanted to have Breakfast at Tiffany’s,
And yes, it’s Sabrina,
the only one I’ve ever wanted to be, a ballerina
who waltzed her way into my twelve-year old heart,
making a dent that is yet unfilled and shall forever be.
Maybe, I’ll run into her,
On my Roman Holiday, on which I do need to embark,
Wait until Dark,
cautions she, of The Nun’s Story,
How about Paris, I say,
Paris is always a good idea, she agrees, o boy!

Beautiful. As graceful as the subject of the poem. Every time I see “Wait until dark”, it is a new experience. As an ardent Audrey fan, thanks a lot,
