Tequila Sunset

gooey skies and a quarter moon,

loony fun and syrupy swoon,

it’s a late late night

and it’s sundown too soon.

four pairs of feet dangling down,

tapping the sides of mossed down,

water lapping all around

on a night, late, late

when we stay awake- oh! so! awake!

whitely topped and pinkly painted,

loong strands combed into shimmering sheets,

shrugged to tug at heartstrings somewhere,

netted to grossly total whoever,

it’s a medley, wave, hats off to us.

when paper and plastic white waste

remind us of misplaced Β trajectories

semenal

and missed targets in the crevices,

it’s a tequila sunset alright

and the moon can only YELL-

OW down πŸ˜€

p.s: ss,t: i owe you a certain simile πŸ˜‰ and n, we all owe you the evening
