just a tired mind

too numb to be nasty

bedraggled leaves

boring

black-eyed

shivering

in the air

without peace

but no fireworks.

Unfortunately, I understand “too numb to be nasty.” You’ve captured a universal here….at least this is how I can feel. I’m not much of a fighter. 😉

This is my favorite section; love your alliteration:

    “too numb to be nasty
    bedraggled leaves
    boring
    black-eyed”

  6. I am chiming in with the chorus on the too numb to be nasty line. Just perfect. Thanks for linking up. Please come on back tomorrow for the new challenge.
