Cotton Flower

The whipping wind

Shook my hoary head

Until you broke loose,

cotton-flower-kin

Floated atop whirl-wind-wagon

Free

as only a wispy flower can be.

My heart

does a somersault leap

to you, free-floating spirit.

  3. Free as only a wispy flower can be. I love it. I can picture the little fluff being bandied about by the wind.
Thanks for linking up with us again. We hope to see you back for the next challenge.

Gorgeous write, and thank you for the picture, too. Well done. I love “hoary head.”
