Narcissus Tazetta | Jasmine’s Jetsam 6

Deep orange

hair on fire

impaled skin

bloodless and tight

over erodent nose

tazetta eyes

no, small-cupped;

depends on your plam,

she is not.

and it’s a hard coat

this narcissus tazetta sports

that hides not the bulge

in her mid-life

swollen and spilling

into my meadows

she did run amok

plucked spherical bulbs

all my joss and jonquil

there was no quell

was this a narcotic

ether-mare mine?

no mere mare though

that one!

you beware.

  1. jasmine calyx says:

Yes, stay away from those dangerous women (and flowers).

    Love these:
“impaled skin / bloodless and tight”
“swollen and spilling / into my meadows”
    “joss and jonquil”

I’m pretty sure you meant “palm” rather than “plam,” but I could always be wrong. πŸ˜‰ Again, I’m so happy to have you writing for me.

  2. Yousei Hime says:

Sexy. πŸ˜‰ “Kampo” is a good percussive word, isn’t it? I enjoyed reading.

  3. deanabo says:

    This is really good!

  4. Neetika says:

hehe. this was a lot of fun πŸ™‚ loved these lines the best:

    no, small-cupped;
    depends on your plam,
    she is not.”

and it was a tongue twister too πŸ™‚ fantastic!
